My 1st Pair of New Shoes

Mummy bought me my very 1st pair of new shoes...coz i can WALK!!!!! I have been walking and I just lovvveeeee the feeling of shoes. I feel I can walk and walk and walk.... heheee.... It's like I am a big boy just like the adult. I must absolutely post the picture of my new shoes here...

I would listen intently if anyone mentions that they are going out, I would quickly grabbed my shoes and insist that someone puts it on for me so that I can go out for walks with anyone that is going out... Now that I have my shoes... I can go out for walks. Cool!!

19 steps...

Oh boy, tonight I just feel good. After a great dinner and shower, while my brother Jo was doing his study and my other bro Jay busy playing his yo-yo, I decided to stand up and walked around. I feel so liberated. I started with 3 steps, then 5 steps....... 11 steps and the record so far, 19 STEPS!!!! hehehe.... Mommy saw and she was ecstatic!!

I was chasing my brother's bouncy transparent fish ball. Somehow, it felt good to walk. Actually, I am practicing. This sunday is Mother's day and I hope to be able to walk completely by then as my Mother's day pressie for mommy. Sshhhh... don't tell mommy! It will be her surprise.... Can you believe that...19 steps!!!..

Oh boy, I just can't wait!!

Fried Chicken Wing

Ha..ha.. I had my 1st fried chicken wing last night for dinner. One whole wing to myself..Yummy!!

Little Steps

I am walking, I am walking, mommy!.... Yup, guess that's the buzzword for me right now. I managed to walk 5 steps yesterday. I walked from the coffee table to ChekChek (my daddy's bro). I mean, if only mommy can understand my lingo. Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't. I am really walking it out. I try to walk but sometimes my reflex automatically tells me to crawl. But I think I will be running around reallllllll soon..... Watch this space!! I will be walking!!!

Mummy hospitalised!

Last wed (30/04), mommy disappeared and did not come back for a couple of days. I remembered Daddy bringing us to this big, big building and then I saw mommy lying on a bed in a room... Daddy says mommy is in the hospital. Mommy had to stay in the hospital because she had pain-pain in her stomach. She had to go for sur-ge-ry for appendicitis.

I missed mommy so much on the 1st night and woke up in the middle of the night looking for her. But daddy did not let me go out of the room and I ended up sobbing for 1 hour. daddy and I only managed to sleep at 4.30am. But the next night, daddy brought me to see mommy late at night and she breastfed me and I went to sleep. Next thing I know, I was back in my bed.

Mummy came back 3-4 days later. She had dressing on her tummy. Mummy said the dressing is pain-pain. I wanted mommy to carry me but she told me she cannot carry me yet. It made me sad, I cried.... I drop myself and even hurt my head. Mommy was sad.

Mommy said she can carry me when she is sitting and told me to be patient. When her pain-pain in the tummy goes away , mommy said she can carry me anytime I want. :)

I sure hope mommy does not disappear. I want her not to be pain-pain again... Thank goodness, everyone is patient with me the wholetime when mommy was not around.

3 Steps....

Last sunday my grandmother insisted I should practice my walking and held me up to assist me to walk. It was quite exciting to see many people watching me. I could walk assisted and then she left me on my own in the last couple steps to daddy. I managed to walk to daddy with 3 little steps. You should hear the exclamation and the cheers from my big brothers and everyone...he he. It was cool for awhile and then I got tired and resumed to crawling..... to everyone's dismay!

Cheeky me

Hi,
Nope I have not started walking yet. But I am cruising a lot along the furnitures. Mommy and Daddy thinks I'm too noisy babbling away. I think the adults understand me better now. Although I still get confused look from time to time when I communicate with them. Since I am a little bigger, Mommy lets me experience other type of food besides the organic food that she normally feeds me or really get aunt Yeyen to feed me.

I think Mommy has a job now coz sometimes I see her at home and then she goes missing after I wake up from my morning nap for lunch. But then sometimes, she is just there the whole day. Quite confusing, really. Anyway, I just found out that I really love corn...hehe.

Daddy says I am very cheeky. I wonder what he means, hmmm?

Look no hands, mommy...

Yep.... I am getting the hang of standing without holding on to something.. I started this last sunday night. Mommy and daddy was gushing over me...hehehe... They were so excited which in turn made me soooo excited. So I keep trying to do that over and over again.... Once I fell over and knock the back of my head...Youch!!... Thank God it was on the wooden floor and not the hard floor. Boy, this standing up and walking is sure not as easy as it looks. Maybe that's why they are all waiting expectantly for me to walk.

Actually, come to think of it, I took my 1st step and came tumbling down to the floor. It was a baby step.... Ah well, I am still practising my balance. In time, I'll walk...just you wait and see....

I love to play...

Hello,
Ooo...it's been a couple of days since I wrote. I have been busy playing..hehehe... Mommy wants me to play a lot coz she says playing will make me a smart boy. Mommy buys a lot of learning toys for me..... though I know she does get frustrated when I play with it briefly and and crawl away.

Let's see I play this wooden barnyard picture with lots of doors and it even have doorknobs for me to pick up. It seems I can improve my fine motor skills with this. I love playing ball. I can throw pretty far. Papa says I am quite strong as I can throw well...

I also like to push anything that is stacked up down. Hehe.. I like to see them come tumbling down..though my cousin Aidan and my brothers don't find it funny sometimes :s

I know everyone is anxious for me to walk. Yesterday I tried standing without holding anything..oh well, it lasted only like 3secs. Mummy was so excited. Somehow crawling seems faster (shrugs)...

Mummy also wants me to learn to read. She has this flipcards with words on it which she flashes in front of me. I look at 3 or 4 cards and she seems a little frustrated when I looked away after awhile.

I can talk now but I don't know why noone quite understands me except for some of my hand signs. It seems that I babble but I can understand myself...Funny, don't know why they don't...

More on me

I am no longer an infant. I am a big boy...13months and counting. I can crawl super fast and I babble a lot...hehe. I can do signs, too.... like I'm hot, no more, pain-pain. I love making my mummy laugh...(by blowing air on her tummy as she is quite ticklish). My daddy and brothers (i have 2) love playing with me, too. We love rough-play.. being boys, you know.

I can get down from my mummy's bed without any help and climb back up, too. I started feeding myself.. though I don't know why they fuss a lot when I feed myself. Today, I tried something different. I tried to stand on my own without holding on to anything. It lasted a couple of seconds. Mummy got excited.

Welcome

Welcome to my world.

Hi, my name is Jeremiah. I was born on 10 February 2007 at 10.01pm. Mummy said I was a big baby. My weight at birth was 3.575kg...hehe. My mummy went into labour for 11 hours. :!

Mummy said that she wanted an induction because daddy had to work overseas on the week that I was supposedly to be born plus Chinese New Year falls on that week too so mummy opted for an induction to have me earlier. But..hehe.. I refused to budge and so it took 3 prostin (err..hope that is correct) to get mummy's cervix ripen.

Daddy was with mummy the whole time at the delivery suite. I was born at KK Hospital, Singapore. That makes me a Singaporean boy.

Mummy said I let out a loud cry (which means I have big healthy lungs). The 1st thing the doctor said was, "my what a deep, double eye lid you have" (you see, very seldom a chinese boy has deep eyelids). I also had lots, lots of hair, too. Let me find some photos to show.
